"DORITO" is very handy broke, but I bought her for a broodmare. She has many miles on her from working a ranch in Montana and now has some arthritic changes in her front fetlock.... (read more) She probably could still be ridden lightly by a youth. Her foot is turned in slightly, but gets worse without a tight schedule with the farrier, mine suggested every 6 weeks. She has a delightful personality, steady as a rock. She is great for the farrier, easy to catch, loads without hesitation. Travels large acreage pasture without a hitch! This is a big bodied mare and very well put together! Just a very nice mare to handle and be around!
Dorito is a maiden mare and is safely in foal, confirmed by our vet, to our stallion GENUINE SILVERNIC. He is our ranch stallion with a good pedigree, disposition, old style conformation with bone, and color to boot! Her foal can only be a dun of any color. It's bred to be a good roping prospect and will have some good size on it! Estimated foaling date would be around early May 2025. Shipping can be easily arranged.
