Go Go Mesa is a 4 year old thoroughbred gelding by Sky Mesa. He was injured just before his first race with sesamoid fracture on September 6, 2023. He has been rehabbing here at Remember Me with regular Magnawave and Thera-plate treatments. His rehab is going very well, and now it takes a good eye to even tell which sesamoid was injured.

On January 5th we had a follow up appointment at Lone Star Park Equine Hospital with Dr. Gilchrist.... (read more) He said the fracture is healing, but needs a little more time. He was cleared to be turned out in a large paddock and he is out now 24/7. His adoption fee will remain low until his is cleared by the vet to begin retraining.

The Remember Me Retired Racehorse Program was formed by racehorse trainers and volunteers to assist retired and injured racehorses after their careers at the track are over. We accept, rehabilitate, and retrain exracehorses with the hopes of finding them new homes with responsible owners. Remember Me has been a 501(c)3 since 2008 and accredited by the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance since 2014.
