Desert Rose “Dezi” is an 8year old 15.1hh Quarter horse mare who has been in our lesson program since May 2023. Dezi has been used in W/T/C lessons and a few jumping lessons but is still very green to fences. She has lots of pep in her step and needs a rider with light aids so isn’t suitable for beginner lessons, but makes a wonderful lesson horse for intermediate and advanced riders. We believe Dezi would excel in Dressage so would love to see her go to a home where she is not being used for jumping.... (read more) She does not have any vices but gets excited easily in the winter when not in a consistent training program or lessons.

Dezi loads, and stands well for vet and farrier. She is also in front shoes and UTD on shots. Dezi currently lives in a group situation but also does well in individual turnout.
