Meet Birdee.

No barbed wire or electric. Panels, wood fence or field fence type wire only and she needs a companion. She is blind in both eyes. If she can see, it’s very, very little. I have vet records confirming her condition. She is around 15 years old, has a current negative coggins, been dewormed and vaccinated, and just had teeth done.... (read more) She still needs her feet done. I’ve worked with her very little on picking up feet. I would love for a rescue to be able to take her. Right now, she’s a companion for a weanling. Gets along great with her. She is halter broke and gets round very well, considering her blindness. She’s very savvy, uses her other senses smell and hearing to figure out where she’s at. I have led someone around on her back and she may have been broke to ride at one time.
I picked this mare up on July 19th in the county. Sheriff’s Department told me to give 3 months for someone to claim ownership and they have not as this time.
