Offering our last 2023 foal to a well suited home. DD Gnist ( norwegian meaning “Spark”) is a delightful brown dun colt by Gio and out of Greta by Bluebird Lane Griffon/Felix. He was born 09/09/23.

Few words about his parents: Gio is Dutch imported red dun stallion, who has earned two Medallions from Fjord Horse International for the best in show at evaluations in the Netherlands and Belgium. He has his lifetime breeding approval in NL and many approved/evaluated offspring in Europe.... (read more) Gio has competed at recognized shows at Second Level dressage, but his passion is cross country jumping. He qualified for 2022 and 2023 for the American Eventing Championships with a 16 year old rider at Novice Level (2’11”). He schools training level jumps and third level movements.
Greta is a stunning mare with a super pretty head. She has mainly been used as a broodmare in the last years, but before has competed at Training Level with high scores and also very successfully competed at hunter/jumpers. Greta always wants to please and is the kind of mare that everyone can and wants to ride.

Gnist presents himself with great presence and could certainly be a nice stud prospect or make a super fancy gelding. He is already a ton of fun to be around and should make an amazing partner for someone. We will likely mature around 14.1hh (parents are 14.1hh and 14.3hh). He is located in Valley, WA.
