Joaquin had a special presence from the moment he was born. Perhaps it was his long elegant neck and slender muzzle, but he spoke distinctly of elegance and refinement.

We had been expecting something special as this colt is a great-grandson of Wyoming Flyhalk through a 16 hand black stallion Caduceus Denver who is known for his event temperament.

This colt's sire, Flower of Deja Vu, is even more significant as his dam was sired by DJJJ Ebony Gold a recognized sport Morgan stallion that is one of only three Morgan stallions that have successfully completed the 100-Day Stallion Trial.... Joaquin's dam's side is equally remarkable as Annabelle is well-represented in the sport world by her brother. Grand Prix- Coulee Bend Kahlua (by the same dam, Coulee Bend Antinicaption) is the top-ranking Morgan in Working Equitation. Emily Gill has achieved masters level with Kahlua, and together they are a notable representative of what a well-bred Sport Morgan can do in capable hands!

Watching this colt move, reaching far underneath himself and holding himself in natural carriage, we feel excited for his future and hope to place him well in a performance home.
