If he goes under contract during the month of March, you will get a steal for $6000 for him as a gelding, $7500 for him if kept as a stud. You will be hard pressed to find a PUREBRED gypsy gelding for $6000!!! After September, his price will go back up.
Beautiful long legged purebred gypsy colt born July 15, 2023. He will be registered before sold with the GVHS.... (read more) He has been color tested and he is EE W20/n, which means he's black, and has a W20 gene which has to do with the distribution of white hairs.
He comes from phenomenal genetics that include Lion King, Pompeii, LDR Whiskey on dam's side and Five Paddocks Mister Bates, Clononeen Poitin, SD Lucky Number Seven, SD Mr. Down, SD Flash Harry, SD Dixie Dancer, SD Jim, SD Pink Palomino and Woolly Mammoth on sire's side. This is a quality colt that would make a lovely herd sire or a beautiful show gelding. If you want a friend to trial ride, he can be that as well. If you are interested in showing, either as a stud or a gelding, he's got the genes to carry you far.If you are interested in him as a gelding, he's $6500 and if possession is taken of him prior to him being gelded, his registration papers will be withheld until proof of gelding can be provided.
Testing pending on PSSM 1 and FIS but confident he is clear due to parents being clear. Dam is only 4 and still growing at 13.3 hands and sire is a young three year old colt that stands currently at 14.1 and has big parents. So this young colt has the potential to have some size to him. He was born with a lot of leg, and both colts born this year by the same stud are very leggy colts. He will be weaned around the end of November, first part of December and can go to a new home then. Or since his dam is also for sale, he can go with her at any time if someone is interested in her too. She is also on a separate listing on this site, a black mare.
He will come with age appropriate training and is handled on a daily basis now. He is curious, playful and already loves his scratches. I am offering a payment plan on him for those that would want to go that route. Stock stays on my farm. until they are paid off.
