If your looking for a fabulous looking grulla to sit on top of, Squirrel is the one to fit the bill. She was just started under saddle this year with someone else and then was sent to me to help her further along in her training.

Squirrel has a laid back personality but has a very nice forward way of moving. She is learning to use her hind quarter and stop nice & balanced. We take her out on trail rides, she really enjoys to walk out and cover some ground comfortably.... (read more) Have taken her to a couple of roping's to see the cattle & commotion. Nice mare to go any direction with - just needs someone to keep her going and put in the saddle time.

The basics we work towards with each horse are forward, soft, supple, & willing. We encourage curiosity in all of our horses and exposing them without making them dull, and sensitive without being afraid. Horses are typically trailered to different places 2+ times a week (Depending on time of year & weather) but are worked with a minimum of 5 sessions per week. We haul to local barns to ride in an indoor and outdoor arenas & trail rides to expose them to different terrain & obstacles creating a more versatile and confident mount. The benefit of exposure to real life outside can’t be overstated. Rest assured, your horse will come back home a better horse than when it was, I keep communication lines open and up to date as well as videos and photos of our experiences.
