Race- and carriage horses in training are exercised right on the property on our privately owned and maintained 1/2 mile long jogging and training track. We teach them to be obedient and solid minded. Our highest goal is that the horse can follow all commands, walk, trot and halt and make safe turns. Naturally occurring and artificial distractions (nature sounds, weather, other people riding, tractors, flags, and sounds) near and on the track will tell us how your horse can handle the many obstacles, occurrences and surprises it will encounter on the race track, road, field and show ring.
