El Oro Morgans

El Oro and Whitney Hill Morgans have been breeding Morgans for over 20 years with an eye towards the Old Style Morgans. Whitney Hill was established in Vermont and then in 2000 moved to New Mexico establishing El Oro Morgans. Whitney Hill is still our registered prefix. All of our horses have Lippitt Miss Nekomia in their bloodlines, a famous 100 mile competitive trail horse. We breed for type and temperament and confirmation to make great family trail horses.... Maggie Mulligan ,proprietor trains the horses to drive and ride and all of the horses are imprinted at birth. These are not the high strung Morgans of the modern era. They are sensible friendly equines that are suitable for child or lady.
