When horses get scared they tend to spook or bolt. Bombproof horses don't spook easily and are great for beginners, inexperienced riders and children....they wouldn't react even if a bomb went off nearby. These horses are very forgiving and are a great way to introduce someone to horseback riding.
Other terms to describe horses that are bombproof include Well Broke, Husband Safe, Quiet, and Kid Safe.
