I am looking for a trainer within 1 or 2 hours of Edmonton area to train my horse. My horse is green and I am looking to get him slowed down, stopping better, getting him collected and just having more control of him in general. Right now I mainly ride him recreationally but once I get more control I'd like to start showing in western, english and gymkana. Does anyone have any recommendations of really good trainers? If so, how much do they charge for one month of training(incl. board)?
