SouthLand Stables, L.L.C. is a brand new Hunter/ Jumper facility located in West Mobile, AL. We offer private or small group turnout, full care or partial care for your horse and the best training around. We are located on 20 acres of beautiful farm land and are currently building a new 12 stall barn with hot/ cold indoor wash rack, laundry room, and tack room, and two grooming stalls, in addition to our small 3 stall barn with tack room and outdoor wash rack that is already full. We do take a select few pasture boarders and have a run-in shed in that field and trailer-ins are welcome. We have a large grass jumping ring with brand new beautiful jumps and a 20 X 60 meter dressage ring with a sand, crumb rubber mix footing. We will start offering schooling shows and clinics this spring and summer in both disciplines. Rachael L. Wilkerson is the head trainer and she was a nationally ranked hunter/ jumper rider as a junior and turned professional at 18. She has ridden for two time Olympic medalist Leslie Burr Howard as well as with Grand Prix rider Kent Farrington. Traveling internationally and showing at Spruce Meadows and Wellington, Fl. Betsie Richards is the barn manager and has over 30 years experience running corporations and is an avid dressage rider. We horse show locally and at "A" rated shows per customer demands. Rachael teaches and shows up to first level dressage although she specializes in only Hunter/ Jumpers and we have a dressage trainer come in to teach for most riders.
