Training is offered for colt starting, re-training an older horse or finishing a started one. Each horse is trained according to the client's needs and wants. No force and no pain is ever used here!
In our 30 day colt starting program colts are ground worked, trained to lead, walk/trot in hand, stand while tied, pick up feet, stand while mounted, walk/trot over tarps on the ground, w/t over ground poles, w/t/c on a loose rein.
In our 60 day colt starting program colts are taught leg yielding, turn on the forehand, cantering poles, bending, moving in frame, sidepass, trail riding in the country with exposure to vehicles. English trained colts can also be exposed to cavaletti and small x's.
Training older horses, re-training and finishing will be done according to client's needs and wants.
