True passion is working with the weanling thru till time to turn over to specialized field. I've currently trained 5 successfully after not working within the business, but still surrounding myself with them and watching them daily for approx 10 years due to being out in the work force, when I was struck with a painful neurological disorder caused by an accident with a mare over 12 years ago, however it wasn't until 6 years ago that the disease revealed itself left me sitting in a chair waiting until the day I wouldn't be able to walk. Thanks to a friend who had too many horses on her hands to work with them, she begged us to take her home for a few months to get her used to be handled, it was during this time that I found what God had intended for me to do. Due to the fact that I was unable to stand for long periods of time, turned to work out perfectly with the attention span of the younger horse. When It was realized that they also came to the understanding that some days off balance, every horse that I have worked with, has been credited with being very compassionate, gentle, and having a strong desire to please. This has been a combined effort along with my husband of over 16 years whom I share a great friendship with, and we have been called the tag team trainers, that if you want a good horse, that's ready to go when it's time to ride, send your horse to their place. Believing that true respect goes both ways that a horse is much happier when not broken down, but rewarded with praise and the release of pressure weather it's pressure from the leg or pressure from the eye.
