Charming Meadow Farm is located on 22 acres in southeastern Pennsylvania - an area rich in Revolutionary War History. The original farm site of which we have a small section, was established in 1749. It was later owned by Baron Henry William Stiegel who named the farm "Charming Forge". It encompassed farm land and an iron forge. In the 1770s, Hessian labor was used to cut a mill race on the farm property and original tow paths and canal locks from the Union Canal are just a stone's throw from our farm. It is a very "charming" area with other local farms named "Charming Creek", "Charming Springs", "Charming Ridge" and of course, our farm - "Charming Meadow". With over 40 years experience in owning, breeding and showing, we are proud to have bred Arabians of Varian/Khemosabi++++// bloodlines which have done well at the national, regional and local level of showing as well as producing family horses that are lifelong companions. In 2012, horses of our breeding brought home 3 National Championships, 6 Reserve National Championships and 3 Top Ten awards as well as multiple Regional and East Coast awards in Halter, Sport Horse In Hand, Western Pleasure, Sport Horse Under Saddle, Hunter Over Fences, Hunter Hack and Dressage. We also board horses as well as provide breeding management/ foaling out for mares. 2012 USEF Arabian Horse Breeder of the Year. Website:klintblack.com
