Allie is a very talented young filly who has been handled consistently and provided the best of care since birth. Allie is sired by the talented approved Irish Draught Sporthorse Stallion A'Lain Shawn (Irish Draught/TB) and out of a fabulous AWS Approved mare Caribbean Breeze (TB/Clyde) - so Allie is 1/2 TB, 1/4 Irish and 1/4 Clyde. The dam was shown in hand as a young horse and easily won her classes with scores in the upper 70's. The dam Breezy has gone on to be a very talented amateur rider dressage horse and her entire family is filled with dressage horses thru Prix St. George (and two time Cosequin Musical Freestyle horse in the nation). The combination has produced a very sound, very sane and talented individual in Allie. She is calm, confident, very intelligent and willing to work. Allie is extremely sound and sane and has absolutely no history of illness or lameness. Allie is currently WELL started under saddle - walk/trot/canter on the bit; starting walking leg yielding and stretching down into the bridle; she has excellent balance and consistently picks up her leads with a lovely smooth canter; she lunges, lunges in side reins, ties, cross ties, stands well for farrier, is wearing a bridle and saddle and is currently being ridden at the walk. Allie has been hauled and loads well and is easy to catch. If you are looking for an uncomplicated horse that will excel as a sporthorse this filly is fabulous. The sire is 16.2 hands and the dam is 16.3 so we expect Allie to mature to at least 16.2 hands as well. She has excellent bone, excellent feet and is very solidly built. Allie would make an excellent foxhunting prospect! Allie was willing and brave free jumping fences.
