Friesians of Majesty now has openings for interns and apprentices!

At Friesians of Majesty, we are dedicated to breeding and training only the highest quality purebred Friesian horses. Located on 650 acres in the mountains of Townshend, Vermont, we are the largest Friesian farm on the East Coast.

Our program offers a unique hands-on learning experience in all aspects of our business, including management, modern breeding techniques, foal handling, starting and working with young horses, and continued training.... (read more) Training occurs year round, and breeding experiences are offered February through May. Length of experience varies according to each student and their goals.

At Friesians of Majesty, you will have the opportunity to ride with our dressage instructor, learn to harness and drive one of our horses, and maybe even a sleigh ride! Living quarters with other interns and apprentices is provided, along with other comforts and amenities. A small stipend is given weekly.

This is an opportunity to learn all aspects of horsemanship and work with some of the best Friesians in the World. We are looking for dedicated individuals who understand that with this opportunity also comes hard work.
