Maple Rock Stables offers a very unique march break camp combing a love of horses and an educational experience of how maple syrup is made. In this camp we not only provided daily lessons and activities with the horses, but also include an up close look at the production of maple syrup from tree to table. All this takes place at our family run sugar bush, with third generation syrup producer. We give the kids a private tour of the sugar shack, walks through the bush, sap collection, and of course samples of our home made maple syrup.... (read more) When we are not in the sugar bush the kids will be doing hands on activities with the horses, grooming and other care, lunging and ground work, and of course riding. We also will be introducing students to vaulting both on the barrel and on one of our vaulting horses.
This is a fun week long camp where kids can meet new friends and have a blast
