What if we have more control over the cost of our equestrian lifestyle than we think? What if we can fuse old fashioned horsemanship with innovative ways of thought? Enter the Co-op!
A co-operative can be defined as "a joint enterprise engaging in the supplying of services, operated by its members for their mutual benefit." In this case, the joint enterprise is in the care of a total of 4-5 horses.
We are an economical, cooperative, and hands on approach to equine care.... (read more) By removing the cost of full time labor and being in control over the products that your horse uses and consumes, you will find that keeping a horse becomes more affordable. The hands on aspect is beneficial in bonding with your horse to strengthen the partnership, not to mention the healing of human ailments such as depression and anxiety.
Our horses spend 12-17 hours grazing and spend most of their days in their natural state which maximizes well being and keeps down the vet bills! Plus with your horse having interactive care with their favorite human, a co-operative establishment lends it's self to produce a naturally laid back environment. We function on a core value of fairness, and the model is ultra flexible so should some part of the simple routine need to be adjusted for the current combination of horse personalities, it can be done! With a maximum of 5 horses on the property, individualized care and simple routines are standard.
A co-operative is beneficial to any horsemen who is looking to sharpen their skill set and establish/re-establish a relationship with their horse. By working among others who share the similar interests and who can lend their talents, there is always someone in a co-op to support you and your equine partner!
