Mario is a 1 - 2 year old poodle/maltese mix. His foster family describes him as a "chill, happy guy!" This sweetheart weighs in at 20 pounds. He appears to be housebroken and crate trained, and is overall a pretty quiet dog, aside from a little bit of whining when he first goes in the crate. He's pretty low-energy, especially given his young age - he just wants to be cozy with someone! He hasn't really figured out how to play, but he's learning!... (read more) Mario would love someone to snuggle and to help him gain confidence, as he can be a little bit skittish when introduced to new situations, but he is terribly sweet and has shown no signs of aggression. He does well with kids and other dogs, but would be fine as an only dog, too! Mario is looking for a lap to curl up in and a fun owner to help him learn to play and enjoy life! He was very shaggy but looks great with his new haircut. Mario is scheduled to be neutered very soon. After that, he will be ready to settle in with his forever family!
