This young Galiceño colt is a unique sooty buckskin. He has a wonderful inquisitive personality, eager to learn. He is gentle and well behaved. He will easily be trained to do whatever he is asked to do. He is vaccinated, has negative Coggin's. He is intact at present, but would be gelded at buyer's request. (read more) This breed is a direct descendant of the first horses brought to the "New World" by Columbus and Cortes in 1500. Cortes brought them into Southern Mexico beginning in 1519 where they remained isolated until some were brought into the USA in the 1950's and '60's. Their closest relative is the Garrano of Northern Portugal and Spain.
