Astro is a stunning year old Tennessee walking horse gelding that stands about .hh. He is grey and in the summer slicks out a beautiful silver color with a big blaze face. He came to us in August as a stallion that was severely malnourished. He was gelded in October and has excellent manners with the other geldings we have here. He stands well for grooming vetting and the farrier. We have been able to lunge saddle and ride him in our round pen. It s clear he is trained under saddle but it s been a long time since he was worked or ridden.... (read more) Astro will need an adopter willing to give him a refresher and help him get back into shape. He can get a bit anxious but ultimately wants to please and will do anything you ask. Astro will need gentle and knowledgeable support to help build his confidence back up.
