Apollo is a stunning Registered Friesian Gelding. He rides both English and Western. We have owned Apollo for over a year now and he has been a pleasure to have around. When Apollo came to us last winter he was pretty green under saddle and since then we have been riding him consistently both western and in dressage. He was sent to a dressage trainer for 90 days in TX last year and she fell in love with him. Gia even started him over a few fences which he actually enjoyed.... (read more) Since coming home from TX, he has been in professional training. Apollo has been trail ridden all over and loves his time exploring in a group or alone. There isn't much on the trail or down the road that bothers this gorgeous boy.He rides well and knows all his basic lateral movements. Apollo is not an overly forward horse, he actually prefers to go slower. We do ride him in spurs or we carry a dressage whip. He has a large expressive trot and a fluid lope.
