Cricket the chestnut filly arrived with her feral mother Firefly and has received a Coggins test. She is was estimated to be around 2-3 months old mid September. While her mother is feral, she Cricket will likely warm up to handling when she's weaned. She does seem to be very naturally gaited and was witnessed clicking along down the barn aisle at a smooth gait on several occasions. Firefly may be of Kentucky Mountain Saddle horse or Tennessee Walking horse heritage.... (read more) Her dam is a decent size, so she is expected to mature to larger than pony height. Cricket will be available for foster or adoption to a home with experience educating an unhandled foal or someone willing to work closely with a trainer to give her the education and support she needs.
