Although nine years old, he has no arthritis or other issues (full x-rays). He is completely sound, having withstood intensive race training early this year, and still very fast. He broke his maiden by 17 1/2 lengths and would have made a fortune on the track except for a freak infection in a sesamoid which caused his retirement 5 years ago. He then spent 4 years out to pasture before convincing me, two vets, his trainer and race track officials that he deserved another shot.... (read more) He had been away from the track too long and no longer wanted to compete so he needs a new profession. Would make a great hunter-Jumper prospect and an even better polo prospect. He's bred to run forever and has lots of moxie and energy to burn.
