I got spud as a project horse and have been working with him for about a year and a half. I was told that he bucks and is crazy but he has never bucked me once or even tried, he is a sweetheart and saddles and rides great. He is not registered so he came with no papers so I do not know how old he is or what specific breed he is. Our equine dentist said telling by his teeth he is around 16 to 17. He looks mostly quarter but he also likes to hold his head and tail up most of the time so I think he might have some Arab in him as well.... (read more) He also has a lot of energy and endurance. He is a great trail horse and doesnât spook easily, he loads most of the time with some grain (it could use a little work) also needs work on picking up his feet and trimming (he is stubborn when it comes to that but he does do it). If he is left alone or the group leaves him he does get very anxious and will not stand still.
