We call them Crystaline and Amethyst. Although they were trained to pull (also have their harnesses), our daughters rode them together â mostly bareback but saddled alsoâ in the woods and to teach kids about Christ at a Christian horse camp. Theyâve been pastured with a Percheron/Friesian gelding so their manes arenât as âfairy-tailâ as before, but they are still ever so nice and pretty.... (read more)The quickest way to tell them apart is the younger one, Crystaline, ~18, has 2 white spots on her right shoulder and she gets a lovely ghost dapple in the summer. Amethyst is ~19, but is more subdued. The girls are going to college and Iâm not able to care for their horses any more. Itâs too bad we never bred them because they are the last mares from Aladdin van de Peelkant. We will not sell them separately.
