For sale is my AQHA 2008 GELDING, here's his story: i got him when he was just weaned from his momma around 6 to 8 months old, i quickly started ground work according to Clinton Anderson including great lounging, round pen manners, jumping barrels etc., then when he was about 3, he was a reining trainer for 3 months to help finish what i couldnt do, he learned a lot, has a good handle on him, i do my best to stay out his mouth as the trainer has taught me.... (read more) During his 6.5 yrs, he has been to Arkansas' Village Creek State Park for camping and trail rides, hes been in noisy Christmas Parades atleast twice, i have logged 85 hours of riding him for the AQHA horseback riding program. Also we have been to Eminence, MO's Cross Country Trail ride with rivers and steep terrain. Last but not least, we have competed in local cow sortings and has great cow potential, but is not considered finished in cow work as we have no steers to practice with. Thats it about my boy, so why sell him? Because he is not riden enough to keep the fresh out of him, as he is athletic and has some spunk, i am not wanting a horse that has to be warmed up for 30 minutes each time i ride, the only reason hes that way is because i work too much to keep him ridden often, like right now, he hasnt been riden since the fall. Because of this, he is for experienced rider only, not kids. Hes sweet, but lively. My boy needs a job! I really think he'd make a great sorting horse or roping horse, maybe barrels but i havent tried barrels with him.
Coggins current and vax'd. Has doc o'lena and king on his papers, difinately cow pedigree not racing blood.
