Panda has excellent ground manners and is very respectful. She has three nice gaits, leg-yields, and shoulder-in, could do more under someone with the time to rebuild her fitness. Great for the farrier and vet and pretty much self-loads in any trailer you point her at. Has been ridden on trail, at shows (always in the ribbons), and around the neighborhood. She would make a very nice lower level Dressage horse and could do just about anything else you fancy.... (read more) Light on the aids and easy transitions off the seat. I have used her in lessons for intermediate to advanced students. She has an easy "go" so I do not recommend her to beginners who have a tendency to grip with their legs and throw away the reins.
She has a great work ethic, doesn't socialize while working and never mareish. She has always been sound. Been barefoot since she was five and never a bad step whether in the arena or on the trail. Up to date on shots, wormer, etc. Excellent conformation and would add good bone and a solid mind to anything she's bred to. Very athletic for her size.
Has had some preliminary driving training. Recently started riding her bitless too.
We had initially sold Panda in 2012, but the owner ran into health issues that forced her sale back to us last year. I still do not have the students to keep her in good work or the time to campaign her myself. She is too nice to sit!
