Wonderful registered teenage haflinger gelding.
Addy is an awesome boy. Has had aprox two years off.
I bought him with intentions of him teaching ME to drive full size horses (we raise minis)
I was told by one of his previous owners that he was shown, cart and harness.
I do not have anything for him to pull, so I have only ground driven him. He was flawless! !!!
I have not had the time to put into him. Hes just been a pasture ornament.... (read more)
Right after I got him, (fall of 2013) I threw a harness on him and ground drove him. He did AWESOME.
He was flawless! Point and go. Along side of the road, thru ditches, thru tractor paths.
I havent messed with him since then, other than a couple lead line pony rides.
He is healthy sound. Up to date on coggins and shots. His feet are good. I have not had shoes on him.
I am told by his previous owner that he was shown under cart and harness. He purchased him in 2011 with intentions of driving him as a team with his other haflinger. The gentleman got seriously ill, ended up in the hospital and had to sell all his horses.
Addy has good ground manners. Walked on the trailer both times I asked him to load.
Hes good for shots, good for the farrier and good to worm.
Hes low on the pecking order. Respects fence.
At his point I am unaware if he has ever been ridden. We have been on him twice, bareback both times. With someone leading him. He seems to know how to lounge. But is a little rusty at it.
As I say, he has been sitting for about two years. But seems to have retained his driving abilities.
He needs a little polishing up. But he has the ability and potential to get right back into it.
He has a wonderful personality. And will do anything you ask him to do.
He is only available to a wonderful home! He is only for sale because I am not using him. I hate to see him just standing around. Call or text to come meet him. 585-329-8142
Transportation is the buyers responsibility.
Will only be hauled in a stock type or horse type trailer.
