I work for a thoroughbred racehorse trainer at San Luis Rey Downs. Sabrina is one of the first horses I rode. She stood out from the others because she had a light mouth and was just a sweetheart to ride. I worked her a few times from 3/8 to a 1/2 and she's a little rocket. Her knees could not hold up to the vigorous training and so after IRAP injections in both knees she was given a home with me. After taking her off the track to another boarding facility and doing arena work she's shown no signs of soreness.... (read more) This filly is a sweet heart to ride but is young so needs to get out and work often to expend her energy. She's very smart; I have been working with her on getting her super light on the snaffle to flex at the poll and she catches on quick. I would love to keep Sabrina forever but my husband's job has us moving often, with a demanding and ever changing schedule it is hard for me to give her the attention she needs. I am looking for a loving home with someone who has enough experience and assertiveness to handle this cute spunky filly. Sabrina is a stocky thing with a pretty head and I think will make an excellent versatile riding companion with time. I've ridden her both english and western and she doesn't mind either way. I don't know much about english equestrian sports outside of horse racing but with my western background I wanted to turn her into a barrel/pole horse because of her speed and quickness. Sabrina has one of the smoothest gallops I've ever felt. I really love her and hope that I can find someone who will appreciate her as much as I do.
