This horse is a good jumper and nice mover. He has a big, ground covering stride and loves to jump, easily clearing 2'6"-2'9" courses. He is sound, healthy, and an easy keeper that has always maintained weight on pasture. He stands quietly for the farrier, ties, and has overall good ground manners. He just needs an experienced, assertive rider to pull out the best in him. He can sometimes be a handful, particularly when asked to do something he is unwilling to do.... (read more) He simply needs to be retuned by an experienced individual who has the time and knowledge to pull out his full potential.
I am sad to see this horse go, as we've become quite attached over the past 8 years. He has been working with a trainer now since the end of August, and I simply don't have the time to give him the attention he needs. I am willing to let him go at this severely reduced price to allow room for you to continue on with his training. The trainer he is working with right now is excellent, and would be willing to continue his training with his new owner, if local. My only hope is that he goes to a good home.
Any reasonable offer will be considered -- I would like to move him quickly so that his new owner can pick right back up with the training. Please feel free to ask with any questions.
