Oliver is an exceptionally nice APHA gelding with unique markings and good conformation. He's very soft to the bit and light on his feet. He has relaxed, smooth gaits. He goes nicely in the arena or out.
Oliver does best with a rider with soft hands. He neck reins and steers off the legs and seat. You can put his feet anywhere. He's not spooky. We've used him for lessons and have also worked green youngsters from his back.
Oliver has been in training with us for six months.... (read more) We are his second owners. He's had regular vet and hoof care all his life. He leads nicely, stands quietly tied, loads well, and is good for the vet and farrier. He is UTD on shots, worming, feet and teeth. Because we train our horses to be responsive to legs and light to the bit, we do not recommend them for unsupervised beginners.
