Elvis is the cutest stout little pony ever! He is a gelding approx.13years old with good teeth and hooves. No kick, bite or buck. Not spooky, rides with the dogs or big horses and gets along with ANYTHING. If you have a hard to get along with horse they won't mess with him, he just has that calm attitude and they come to give him grief and then walk away. My babies are using him to chew on and play with and he doesn't care.
He is between 38-40in.... (read more) tall and he pictures are of my nine year old who is very small and my 10yr old who is average height. I do prefer he sells to someone who has a smaller child because my 10yr old can ride him no problem but is a bit too tall for him.
Elvis is an easy catch and loves to be brushed and loved on, ties great, loads wonderful.
He is very fat and getting a little herd bound with my crew. lol
I bought him for my daughter to "break" she wanted one to break and there was no way I would let her do such a thing so I bought a broke pony she could think she could break. Anyway she thinks she has done her job! lol
I do recommend that if you are buying for a toddler that you lead line until they know how to ride, he walks with purpose and may scare a little one on their own, he would be a step up horse for 4yrs old and older that have ridden before and know how to stop and directional rein. He is no runaway but if you can't turn him he will walk to my herd. He has never been foundered and has a double mane.
You need to have means to take care of him, hay, shelter etc. to buy him.
Rides bareback, with a saddle or double. He would make a wonderful playday pony for a starter. There is a Craigs List ad on him with lots more pictures, go to Tulsa listings, farm and garden section and search by his name or town of Coweta.
I have a few other "special" ponies if he is not the one!
