I purchased Floyd from the Mule Shoe Farms in Missouri 3 years ago. He was bred and born there and imprinted. Floyd has been ridden on trails, been in the mountains and packed an Elk, According to the breeder trainer. He has also been to the Oklahoma Chuck Wagon parade and I was told he did well. I started Floyd out with the help of Steve Edwards of the Queen Valley Mule Ranch and worked him on my place with local trail rides. My career has taken a turn to where I no longer have the time to put in him as he needs and deserves.... (read more) Floyd will come with a complete rigging. Steve Edwards Packer Mule Saddle, britchen, floating breast collar, Martingale, Pad, and anything else I can find. There is no need to buy anything. This custom mule rig was over 1800 itself. Floyd is a love and has a lot of potential. Great with a farrier, tacking, bathing and grooming. At 9 years old he has not matured fully yet. Mules get really good at 10 to 12. Floyd is giant and powerful and needs an intermediate hand at first. Once he settles in my 8 year old rides him in the arena. Floyd has a walk trot that really eats up ground and leaves regular horses in the dust. No matter where you go with him he is a head turner with looks and size. I was told Floyd was driven but I have not done that with him. I have done extensive ground driving in preparation and he knew what he was doing. Please respond to the contact seller link for more info and pics.
Ive lowered the price to 4000, 3500 without the tack. If he doesn't sell ill send him to a pro trainer for 90 days for finishing and driving and raise it. If you have the time hes worth it.
