Leo has made my college rodeo career simply a blast. He made roping easy. I highly suggest this horse to anyone who wants to begin roping and finish as a champion. He is too hot for younger kiddos, but can handle easy with an experience rider. This horse does not buck, rear or spook. Just prances after each roping. I maybe seen his ears pulled back a handful of times, super great attitude! The last owner managed to make the to college national finals on him in both calf roping and heeling.... (read more) I did not rope as fast but kept a solid 3.0 - 4.0 second breakaway times. I also heeled and headed off of him. He would put me in the right spot every time. I realized he is old. I bought him with a fused knee and rodeo off him for 3 years with MSN & glucose. Had a rodeo every weekend for 6 weeks straight each semester and held up to a tremendous standard. Was not gimpy or in pain. He is the type of horse that can sit in a pasture for the whole summer and hit the a rodeo the next day with a new buckle. I am in the process of training a new roping horse would like a new roper to experience what a real roping horse feels like. Comes out hot, pushes the barrier, stops on a dime, ready to go!
