11 year old sorrel gelding. About 14.2 hands tall. Used for trail riding, pennings, and playdays. You can throw a rope off of him but that is the extent of his roping knowledge. Handles good. Easy to catch. Easy to shoe, currently has two shoes on the front. No issues loading. No bucking, rearing, spooking, or buddy sour issues. Walks, trots, and lopes. A 13 year old boy has been using him on a ranch to help bring up cows.
Vices: Sometimes you have to ride him with spurs.... (read more) Occasionally, he puts his ears back when you saddle but doesn't do anything. Will bite at other horses out in the pasture. Has a slight overbite so he drops feed. We just keep his bucket on the ground when we feed. I think I covered everything
Just took on the Sante Fe Trail Ride for 19 miles this weekend. He was a little scared of the wagons at first but did fine later in the day.
