Kuzco (the main character from Disney's Emporer's New Groove) is a striking chestnut colt with a dead straight blaze and a royal appearance :) He sure is a showstopper and is a fabulous looking colt with a go get um attitude towards life. He is currently being handled regularly and is halter broke. This horse was bred for the eventing arena but is fancy enough to do hunters and has the movement for dressage!
Kuzco is out of my Irish sport horse mare, Tearnanog's love the spirit (Brandy) by Brandenburg's Windstar.... (read more) The colt will be by imported stallion Fredericksburg/ Danish Warmblood Stallion Emporer. Emporer or Kejser Af Iglso, also known as Emperor, was imported from Denmark in the spring of 2003 by Hans and Rebecca Christensen. Sired by Milton Torp, born 4-10-94 in Denmark. Emperor passed the Frederiksborg stallion material test at Vilhelmsborg Denmark in 1998 with 757 points, the highest combined points of stallions tested. He received a grade of 7.9 and an AWR blue ribbon as first premium stallion.
Emperor has a great temperament, carrying himself proudly with long graceful strides and has been shown at 3rd level. Emperor is true to the Frederiksborg breed, chestnut with flaxen mane and tail. He stands 16.2 hh and is well muscled and proportioned.
Unfortunately Brandy never campaigned due to an injury she sustained as a baby but she is naturally athletic and has a marvelous work ethic. Her rideability was phenomenal (testament to me starting her myself as an amatuer). Brandy's sire, Windstar is recently deceased but has produced phenomenal upper level event horses that still compete today. This is what Teamwindchase.com says about him as a sire: Windstar is a very well-balanced correct horse with excellent conformation and a super temperament. He is an impressive mover with three lovely gaits, and a lovely, elastic way of going. He is a truly exceptional jumper, bold and scopey with terrific form over fences. His attitude makes him easy to handle and a real joy to ride and handle. He had an undefeated Eventing career before retiring from competition to stand at stud; five wins out of five events. He also excelled at Dressage shows, winning his classes with scores around 70 percent. He is registered with the Irish Draught Horse Society (North America), and was approved at their inspection as a three-year old in 1997, where he received high praise from judges in Ireland, Canada, and the USA.
Windstar is beautifully bred, having some of the top bloodlines in Ireland in his lineage on both sides. His Thoroughbred sire, 'I'm A Star', led the Eventing world as a sire in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He produced numerous successful International Three-day Event horses, including Burghley and Badminton winner Star Appeal, as well as Phyllis's Advanced level horses, Star Bright and Sirius. Windstar's Irish Draught dam, Kildalton Seabreeze, is descended from some of the best jumping bloodlines in Ireland. Her sire, Sea Crest, is well known as a producer of top show jumpers, including the internationally renowned 'Cruising'. Her maternal grandsire is King of Diamonds, one of the all-time great Irish Draught stallions, who was renowned for his jumping ability, and made a huge contribution to the breed as he passed on his talent to his descendants. Windstar has plenty of offspring currently competing in the upper tiers of Eventing. This colt is bred to be an amateur horse with talent for the professional, upper level words of competition. Payments may be available but must be paid in foal before leaving the property. Price may increase after weaning-
