CheyAuts Champagne Surprisingly Dun. Rare champagne filly! She is an amber champagne, which is bay with the champagne gene. She will look similar to a buckskin but with a nice shine and the mane/tail/legs will be lighter than a buckskin would. She also has a dorsal stripe like a dun, and had other dun markings as a foal. Her sire is one of only two homozygous champagne miniatures in the world (the only one in the US) who has done well with limited showing in Combined Driving Events.... (read more) Her dam is a beautiful bay mare who is incredibly sweet and well mannered. I sent and paid for her AMHA papers, but I had forgotten to send the money for DNA ($41) which is needed because her parents were hardshipped while she was in utero. Waiting on her AMHR papers to come in the mail. Gauranteed she can/will be AMHA, AHMR and ICHR registered. She's a very curious girl but is skittish about being handled. She comes over to you, but will move away if you head towards her. She has had regular trimming by the farrier and has been shaved twice. Was asking $2000 but will take $1500 since she's skittish.
Her sire was shown at an SSC show (a mini club, not Scottsdale Saddle Club) and he was 1st in Stallions, 1st in Solid Color, 1st in Novice Driving, and placed in the Driving Champion and Obstacle Driving classes. He has been doing well in combined driving, was 4th place in the year end placings out of a large division in 2012.
I have others available as well, check out the "Equines of CheyAut Ranch" album on the CheyAut Ranch facebook page!
***I will take $1000 if sold ASAP!
