"Paisley", APHA registered name "Ima Chippewa Two" (link to pedigree below) is a 10 year old, 16hh bay and white tobiano mare. She sweet on the ground and easy to work around. She lives out 24/7 and is an easy keeper. Shod in front shoes only and 100% sound. Paisley is looking for a new person to call her owner. Previous owner did some trail riding, paper chasing and local showing with her but came to us on a trade as she was too much horse for her.... (read more) She is currently in a 3-4 day a week program and being schooled both in the ring and out cross country. In the ring she walk/trot/canters in a frame and offers a lead change. She is ridden in a snaffle bit and has a light mouth. She will easily adjust to her riders and will do anything from a western jog/lope to an english trot/canter. She has been schooled over fences and is jumping 3'-3'6" courses presently. Has the scope for more but is being put back into a consistent program and built up. Has been schooled over small lines of 4' fences and is brave and athletic.Very steady around 3'-3'6" but does get a little more forward over the bigger fences. She has a good mind under saddle and is very intelligent. Paisley would be best suited for an intermediate rider or someone working with a trainer. She is simple enough for a teen to ride but could teach someone looking to go farther a lot. She is happy to plug along on the buckle or work into a frame. Shes been taken out on the trails and is great out of the ring as well. She's fairly quiet and not spooky, not a dead head but not a run away. She has the perfect amount of "go" for someone who doesn't want to push, but doesn't want to pull either. Will stand on the crossties all day, loves to be groomed and is good for bathing. Was put on the back burner due to unsuitability with the previous owner but is now in a program and quickly improving. Just needs a refresher - will be a great partner! Priced to move at $4500.PERFECT mount for someone looking to do a little bit of anything, great all around mare. Jumpers, trail riders, fox hunters or low level eventers could all find that this mare has something to offer them!
