Jasmine is a flea-bitten grey mare, 6 year old, registered Quarter Horse. She's up to date on trimming, vaccines, Coggins, and deworming. Stands well for vet and farrier. Very easy to catch; she usually walks up to you. Loads, ties, bathes. Responds well to leg cues, stops and backs like a dream. Probably not a horse for beginners as she's been cantered a only a few times (recently). Otherwise she's broke and safe. Ridden Western, but this spring I rode her English a few times.... (read more) I've been working on riding her in a rope halter. I use natural horsemanship that's closest to John Lyons' or Clinton Anderson's training methods. She's used to dogs, cattle, loud farm equipment. Not spooky. Been to a couple shows, the Marshfield fair, 4-H clinics, and I took her to a speed show July 27.
She's a great horse; she could be finished for anything you like: gaming, showing English or Western or both, trail horse, etc. If I was able to keep her I'd finish her and use her for a lesson horse for 4-H kids to show and to trail ride. She has a calm demeanor and a nice long stride.
I'm selling her because I'm in college and can't keep her. Email for more pictures, email or call for more information. Price very negotiable to the right home.
