12 yr old, thoroughbred mare, 15.1 hh, dark bay in color, registered with The Jockey Club. Rides both English and Western. Has been used as a lesson horse and therapy horse for disabled and autistic children at a YMCA camp. Was primarily an arena horse, but since I've had her, we have introduced her to some trails. She gets along great with other horses, loves peppermints and carrots and will lick your hand like a puppy. She comes to you in the pasture, loads easy in trailer as long as it's not small, stands for ferrier and bathes.... (read more) She has speed if you ask her for it; but you HAVE to ask her for it. She was trained that once you put the saddle on, to walk slowly and cautiously. She's very gentle and laid back. She will not run out from under you. I never have to work her. She can sit in the pasture for two months and when I put the saddle on her, it's like we rode the day before. She'd make a great youth, beginner or lessons horse! We got her for my then 11 yr old son to build up his confidence; however, he doesn't ride much anymore (more into games) and I really hate to see such a great horse just sit in the pasture. She needs a loving home that will utilize her gifts with people and take her on regular rides! Vet checks welcome. Serious inquiries only please!
