"Sissy Sue" is a 3 year old 14.3 hand beautiful palomino roan mare with TONS of personality! If you are looking for a smaller recreational trail horse that LOVES attention, then Sissy is for you! Sue is very easy to work with, extremely gentle and well mannered. She clips, bathes, loads & hauls, and stands for the farrier with ease. She is also great with other horses and dogs. You can catch her anywhere, she actually runs to you when you call her name!... (read more) She has a flashy "racky" gait that is super enjoyable to ride. Sissy Sue is not afraid and very sure footed on the trails as either a leader or follower. She has plenty of "camping" experience and has been exposed to all kinds of terrain. Sue has an incredibly willing attitude and is always eager to please. She is strong and has plenty of stamina! Excellent trail horse but I think she would excel in the show ring too, if given the chance. She loves affection and attention, total sweetheart! She would be best suited for an intermediate child rider or small adult. She is a solid, reliable horse for anyone who knows the basics of riding to enjoy!
Sorry, she is not registered...but out of registered stock! Sire is Fancy's Sweepstake Chance (Cremello) and Dam is Zee's Spicy girl (Black and White Tobiano). Sissy Sue is completely sound, with no vices...although she does like to "sing" by flapping her lips while you ride her. She is up to date on all shots, worming, dental, farrier work and has a current negative Coggins.
The only reason I am selling is because I bought her for myself to ride and she did not get quite "tall enough" to accommodate my long legs...
Please, SERIOUS inquiries only. MUST go to a GOOD home. She will make someone an excellent horse!
Asking $1650 but will consider trading on a nice show saddle OR a decent fixer-upper horse trailer ONLY. Located in southern Ohio (Lucasville, 45648).
