Lucy is an excellent trail mount who has just unfortunately been diagnosed with navicular changes. I was planning to use her for competitive trail riding and my vet does not foresee her holding up to such strenuous activity. I am looking to place her in a home where she will be ridden regularly in the ring with some occasional trail riding. She is a solid mare, with a very willing attitude. She really loves to work. I can ride her on a loose rein, and she will go anywhere you point her.... (read more) She does however need steady work. She gets a little full of herself if allowed to sit for too long. I believe she could make an intermediate rider a wonderful pleasure mount.
She stands well for both vet and farrier, loves her grooming sessions, and is an absolute sweet heart. She is an easy keeper and is in a paddock where she can come and go from her stall all day and is stalled just over night. Must go to loving home only. All reasonable offers considered.
