A very athletic, easy to look at 5 year old blue roan mare. "Squeekie" is a daughter of Smooth Blue Snippy, a foundation bred blue roan stud siring huge hips and great heads. Her bottom side is a working cow / running blood cross (Blue Valentine and Dash for Cash) "Squeekie" stands 14.3 hands, stout and very correct. Big motor and willing to work. Used to work cattle and has been on several trail rides. Shown at the county fair in 4-H halter classes.... (read more) Outstanding barrel, pole, and heeling prospect. "Squeekie" has been started on the hot heels heeling. Ready to finish.
She was started as a 3year old due to at 2 she was not very big. She was started in our outdoor round pen and then down the road they went. She has been hauled every time we ride off the place. We have taken her for trail rides a few times, hauled to drive cattle. She was used to help doctor calves. She has been in parades and hauled to the county fair to help park cars and shown at the fair every year since she was a yearling. Every year she earns a purple in halter. She was purchased as a weanling to be our daughter's project. Our daughter just doesn't have time to keep her tuned up so she always gets back on her 22 yr old barrel horse. Squeekie was to be her replacement horse. but the 22 yr old is still sound. Squeekie is used to being around the whole family. She is comfortable around 4-wheelers, barking dogs, chickens, screaming kids, vehicles, skid steer, etc. This summer she learned how to submerge herself in the pond to cool off. She is easy to catch and loves attention. She is also a sucker for the grain bucket so any one can catch her. She has solid feet. Her hooves are hard and all black. She wears them even and there is no need for shoes. She never acts tender, even after a trim. She doesn't have any team penning or sorting experience, but she hooks up to the hot wheels. With a little work, she should make a great penner. We listed her as a 4 due to the fact the she doesn't get tired and has a great work ethic. She is always willing to give you more. She is not hot or out of control. Email request for additional pictures. Please contact my husband, Steve on his cell (402) 759-1194.
