Halstead is just built so beautifully and moves very well! He is very good to ride and I have been working on his basic area work. He picks up his leads both ways, his transitions are getting to be very good. He lunges walk, trot and canter on voice command. He was retired because he started to pull a suspensory so his owners retired him. He has been sound except when I had his shoes pulled he was ouchy. He will probably need at least front shoes but I have not put shoes on him as he is doing 100% better and we are not working him hard.... (read more) This horse is just great and would be awesome for the hunters or eventing! Update!!! Halstead was vetted and vet says SOUND SOUND SOUND! Slick was adopted along with Halstead earlier this month and the owner was not ready to take on two horses. They did not do anything wrong but the owner did not relize the time, money and work that comes along with two horses. His adoption fee is $150.00.
