After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to offer this special mare for sale.
“Stella” is a 5-year-old purebred Arabian mare with a quality pedigree, beautiful natural movement, and a successful show record. She has been shown in Hunter Pleasure, Showmanship, and Performance Halter, earning:
• Reserve Champion Showmanship — Region 12
• Top Five Performance Halter — Region 12
• Top Five ATR Hunter Pleasure — Regions 15 & 16
Stella is a beautiful, athletic mare with a lot of natural talent.... (read more) While she has been successful in the show ring, she has struggled with the pressure and anticipation that comes with the Hunter Pleasure environment. Since returning from training, she has had some time off and is currently not in a consistent riding program and will need a patient restart/reconditioning period.
Because of that, I think she would be best suited for someone who is looking for a quality young Arabian and is willing to take the time to rebuild her confidence and help her find the job she enjoys. She has beautiful movement and the quality to excel in a variety of directions, including ranch, western, dressage, or potentially returning to the hunter ring with the right program. She could also be a lovely in-hand mare and has the quality to be considered as a future broodmare.
This is a difficult decision because Stella is a very special mare, but I want to find the situation where she can truly thrive and continue to develop.
