Jade is a sweet and beautiful thoroughbred mare.... (read more) She had a light start on the track, and then started under saddle. She has been ridden by a youth, thoughtfully and methodically, always proving to be straight forward, honest, and willing.
Jade has three beautiful eye catching gaits, and carries herself nicely. She is uphill, and walks and trots like she is a super model. Her canter is smooth and easy to ride.
Jade has been to local schooling and recognized horse shows, events, and dressage shows. She has competed successfully at the beginner novice level, some schooling novice, and has been over a few training level fences. She is big, beautiful, and athletic. She always jumps the jump.
In the barn she is an easy horse to feed, groom, tie, bath, and stands well for the vet and farrier. She loads well on the trailer alone or with a buddy. She respects electric fence. She is not a wood chewer or a cribber, and gets along well with others.
Jade has been brought along by a young rider in a program, who will be leaving for college which is the reason for her sale. Jade is eager to climb the ranks as a show horse, or be a personal horse for someone to event, dressage, or trail ride.
She is strong, yet straight forward. She is youth with a trainer friendly, or for a pro to continue to develop. She can be tricky to get contact, and keep in the bridle.
Jade would excel in eventing or jumpers, as she is excited to jump and likes that job! She’s keen to fences, and careful. Jade does tend to have a busy head, and will require consistency to keep working on this.
Up to date on farrier, vaccinations, dental and deworming.
She is fit, and ready to go!

Full Training Service barn located in Castleton, Vermont. We specialize in eventing, and dressage. We offer ground up training for horse English or Western. Lessons are offered to the public, and consignment horse sales. We have a working student program daily for kids 12 and under, and a more full time program for kids 12 and up. We are a brick and mortar facility, that is not fancy, but we offer kind and understandable instruction to all involved.
