Additional Comments

Koa is a 6-year-old OTTB gelding with a wonderful brain, a solid foundation, and plenty of potential for someone looking for a fun, athletic partner.

He was purchased at 3 and then spent about a year and a half growing, maturing, and enjoying a lighter schedule. During that time he went on road and trail rides and proved to be confident around traffic, cyclists, runners, fire trucks, and large machinery.
More recently, Koa has come back into consistent work and has been doing very well.... (read more) He is smart, willing, and talented, but would be best suited to a confident rider who can continue developing him.

Koa does have some mild hind-end maintenance. He has been evaluated by two veterinarians, has had his hocks injected, and is currently working well. For the right person, I think Koa could make a really nice lower-level eventer, hunter, fox hunter, trail horse, or all-around partner. He has a great mind, is brave out in the world, and has a lot to offer. Currently Koa is spending time with a trainer, but coming to the end of his placement. 4,000 obo.
